In this episode of Altar Your Algorithm, we sit down with Brad Dougherty—husband, dad, deacon, and one of Christian County's ag industry servants—who shares how faith shapes every part of his life, from the church to the workplace to the farm. We talk about what it means to live on mission without being in full-time ministry, the parallels between faith and farming, and how small seeds of faithfulness today can lead to a fruitful harvest tomorrow. It's an honest and encouraging conversation about grace, consistency, and staying rooted in the Word. We hope today's episode encourages you to go planting!

Once a month we get to record and episode where it's just us in the booth. We want to have a little bit of direction when we don't have any guests, so we've decided that once a month over the next four months we'll release an episode in this series. We're going to talk about the 4 F's: Faith, Family, Friends, and Future. It all starts with faith and it all comes back to faith. As we go through this series we're going to talk about how we can make sure that our faith is strong, how we can strengthen it with the help of others, and what the future can look like when we implement faith in to our lives daily. We hope this episode encourages you to Altar Your Algorithm!

Kids are the future and it is so important that we invest in them. As parents, as Bible class teachers, as role models, we have the opportunity to make a positive influence on the kids we come in contact with. Donna Pickerill organizes, implements, and directs Southside's Children Ministry which we call Kingdom Kids. It may never been something she would have done had a specific book not made it into her possession. Donna is wonderful and a blessing to Southside and all of the families that attend. If you are looking for a place to help raise your children in Christ, we would love to invite you to Southside to experience Kingdom Kids. We hope this episode encourages you to Altar Your Algorithm!

Vice does a ton for the Hopkinsville community and one of the most powerful of the many things that he does is mentoring. That's what we're going to discuss today. If there's a shortage of anything in the world right now, it's mentors. We need consistent Godly men and women who are willing to pour into our future! Ask yourself the question, 'Could I be a mentor?' I really do think you could. I hope this episode encourages you and maybe pushes you out of your comfort zone to enable and help future generations.

It's important to pause and reflect on what's been working and what hasn't been working in our spiritual lives. Are there habits that we used to practice that were beneficial that we aren't anymore? What happened? Why did we stop? How can we address those things? Slowing down, reflecting, refocusing, and recommitting to a healthy relationship with God is what we need (regularly). We hope this episode encourages you to Altar Your Algorithm!
